Gastronomic journey in the Vendée
Amélie and Nicolas Coutand invite you to their new gastronomic restaurant Les Genêts in Brem-sur-Mer, ideally located between Les Sables-d'Olonne and Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie.
After a tasty experience in Mirepoix in Ariège, they returned to their native land and took over the Parc des Genêts in Brem-sur-Mer.
This former mansion, entirely renovated, will host 2 rooms with different atmospheres on the ground floor and a room with an intimate atmosphere on the first floor for seminars, business or family meals.
The young chef Nicolas Coutand will offer bistronomic cuisine for lunch and gastronomic cuisine for dinner.
The restaurant Les Genêts welcomes you: for lunch from 12.15 to 13.15 and for dinner from 19.30 to 21.00.
Off season: Closed Sunday evening, Monday and Tuesday all day.
In season: Sunday evening and Monday all day.
Our fine cuisine and creative
Just like the house, colourful and refined, the cuisine of the young chef Nicolas Coutand is a feast for the eyes and taste buds!
For the restaurant Les Genêts, he selects the best quality products from the land and sea to create tasty dishes. The Chef proposes a light and fragrant meal, punctuated by the market and local producers, as well as a creative and rich gastronomic menu.
Our values The leader
Originally from the Vendée, Chef Nicolas Coutand has worked at the Nikko Hotel in Paris, at the Senate Restaurant in Paris and at Troisgros in Roanne,
then at the Richelieu on the Ile de Ré, at the Castel Marie Louise in La Baule, or at the Château de Mirambeau in Mirambeau.
Back to his roots in his native region, he imagines the best of the land and the sea. His cuisine, original, concise and tasty, explodes in the mouth, revealing extraordinary flavours and aromas!
